Installation of University of Cyberjaya’s 3rd Chancellor, Tan Sri Dato’ Seri Dr Noor Hisham bin Abdullah
Faculty of Creative Art and Design and Centre of Biomedical Engineering is established at University of Cyberjaya

All institutions under the Group records a significant growth despite the pandemic.

2020

The Group’s Borneo colleges officially become affiliate colleges to UOC. Cyberjaya College Central is formally established
University of Cyberjaya is included in the Times Higher Education (THE) Impact Rankings for the first time

2019

CUCMS is officially upgraded to University of Cyberjaya (UOC), which officially acknowledges the institution’s breadth in academic programmes offered and its status in research and development
Installation of second Chancellor, Emeritus Professor Tan Sri Anuwar Ali
Receives QS 5-Star for Teaching, Employability, Facilities and Inclusiveness by the publishers of the QS World University Rankings

2018

The Group undertakes a major restructuring effort to form Minda Global Berhad to integrate all of its Education offerings. The company was then listed on the main board of Bursa Malaysia, with General Tan Sri Dato’ Seri Mohd Shahrom Bin Dato’ Hj Nordin (Rtd) as the Chairman
CUCMS moves into its brand-new, purpose-built campus (current campus) along Persiaran Bestari with a total square footage of 505,818, comprising of a 4-storey academic block, and an 8-storey Tower block. The campus is three times larger than its prior venue

2015

The Group acts as a white knight to further rescue various distressed higher education players in the country
CUCMS is the first and only University in Malaysia to offer the Doctor of Pharmacy programme

2014

Installation of first Chancellor, Yang Teramat Mulia Dato’ Seri Diraja Tan Sri Tunku Sallehuddin ibni Almarhum Sultan Badlishah, Tunku Temenggong Kedah.

2013

SMRT Holdings Berhad emerges as a new investor emerges into CUCMS.

2011

CUCMS is officially recognized by the Ministry of Higher Education and MQA as a SETARA 5-Star institution for the first time, a title repeated ever since.

2010

CUCMS moves to its second campus along Jalan Teknokrat 3, Cyber 4, Cyberjaya, occupying a total of 172,260 square feet, more than 7 times the size of the previous campus, enabling the institution to now expand the campus to accommodate more students
All 103 of the first batch of Medicine students formally graduates
CUCMS becomes the first private institution in Malaysia to offer the Master of Clinical Pharmacy (MClinPharm) programme

2009

First cohort of 13 Pharmacy students, graduates from the Bachelor of Pharmacy programme. The Centre for Graduate Studies, Research & Commercialisation is established heralding the start to a research-centric approach in the institution’s learning and teaching.

2007

The first batch of MBBS students sits for their professional examinations, which results in a 100% pass!

2005

Cyberjaya University College of Medical Science (CUCMS) is founded and officially registered with the Ministry of Higher Education, and first operated at the Street Mall campus in Cyberjaya, with its founding Faculties, Faculty of Medicine and Faculty of Pharmacy.
