Manager (AMU)

The position holder will be responsible in the execution of the university’s plan in expanding partnerships portfolio with other local and international parties and organisation.

• Develop and initiate Partnerships Programme (Franchise) with International Partners delivering in delivering the university programmes;
• Develop and initiate Student Exchange Programmes (bi-directional) – inbound and outbound Student Exchanges;
• To source and establish successful partnerships (i.e. Dual Award, Franchise Programme and other relevant collaboration and partnership) for the University and its affiliated institutions;
• Develop frameworks, SOPs policies, regulations and other guidelines to ensure smooth running of all partnership programmes;
• Act as the main liaison person with prospective and current partners to ensure smooth operations and optimum satisfaction of students and partners can be obtained;
• To source, to conduct evaluation and due diligence on prospective partners;
• Responsible for connecting internal departments within the university with externa partners and to facilitate the process;
• To ensure all partnerships and collaboration programmes comply with all MOUs and MOAs rulings and requirements:
• Advise and assist the Senate on matters related to related partnerships and programmes;
• Responsible for the success of the operations, development and growth of partnerships and programmes in terms of revenue;
• Report on various metrics for all related partnerships and programmes on a periodic basis;
• To ensure all relevant partnership activities are properly accounted for and all financial invoices are raised to partners within the stipulated timeline; and
•  Assist with other relevant tasks and responsibilities related to the general scope of the said unit.

Qualifications Required

1. Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree;
2. Possess at least a minimum of 5 years’ of experience in education industry Academic or administrative, preferably in a similar role and capacity, and have proven demonstrable achievements;
3. Have a solid experience in handling partnerships and network building;
4. Knowledge on academic affairs w ill be an added advantage; and
5. Able to write and converse well in English
