Lecturer (Diploma in Healthcare)

To carry out teaching and class facilitation activities for certificate, diploma, degree students and/or equivalent.

• Develop, review, update, prepare and implement high-quality lesson plans, tutorials, assignments, and class discussions in compliance with the syllabus and curriculum.
• Conduct and deliver quality lectures, tutorials, discussions, workshops, consultancy, and other means of learning facilitation professionally and effectively to students.
• Contribute to the development of new academic programmes and to provide ideas, suggestions, proposals, and recommendations to further improve the overall operations, management, and profitability of the institution.
• Supervise students and be responsible for students’ academic progress.
• Consistently monitor and provide feedback to students on their performance, and provide academic counselling to students.
• Involved in the general academic administration of the faculty whenever required.
• To fulfil administrative and supervisory roles associated with teaching and facilitating student engagement.
• Involved in the development of examination papers and other assessments according to the course learning outcomes, invigilate examinations and evaluate students’ performance.
• To assist in the communication and administrative matters in accordance with the policies and regulatory requirements of the university and regulatory requirements by ruling authorities such as the Ministry of Higher Education (MoHE) and the Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA);
• Participate in community engagement projects to increase the MyQuest rating for the college.
• Involved in marketing activities such as education fairs, open days and other marketing drives;
• Attend to other tasks and assignments  assigned by the Management.

• Candidates must have at least a Master’s Degree in Medical Science/Healthcare or equivalent, with Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Science/Healthcare or equivalent.
• Have at least 3- 5 years of teaching experience.
• Good command of English, with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
• Flexible, resilience and have passion in teaching and willing to go the extra mile to provide quality education to students.
• Team player who can work with faculty members and administrative staff.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, good oral and written communication skills and presentation skills.
• Having a strong skill set in the English Language is a must.
