Job Overview
- To provide support and assist the Bursar with regular day-to-day duties.
- Establishing and carrying out our departmental goals, policies, and procedures.
- Gather data for annual budget preparation and keep track of budget utilisation.
- Take minutes, file and follow up with departments for reports.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the calendar for the Bursar.
- Receive and update purchase and cash advance requisitions from staff and update the finance department on the payment process.
- Raising payment requests for payment-related matters for the Bursary Office.
- Prepare email appointment letters for agents.
- Assist students and parents with inquiries related to tuition payments, billing statements, and financial aid disbursements.
- Send University Management Meeting invitations and compile working documents, take minutes of the meeting, and file the documentation.
- Obtain Bursar’s approval for any supporting documents & complies annual budget presented by staff.
- Compile reports for Bursary Office from Academic and Non-Academic Departments.
- Attend to tasks assigned by the management as required.
Skills and Experiences
- A bachelor’s degree in any relevant field.
- At least 2 years of working experience
- Possesses initiative and the ability to think independently
- Strong interpersonal and presentation skills with a strong command of written and spoken English.
