Lecturer / Senior Lecturer – Islamic Finance

The Faculty of Business & Technology is expanding, and we are seeking passionate academics in Islamic Finance to help shape the future of business education.

• Deliver undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Islamic Finance and related areas.
• Conduct impactful research and publish in reputable journals.
• Develop and update curricula aligned with industry and Shariah-compliant financial practices.
• Provide academic advising and mentorship to students.
• Engage in departmental service, industry collaboration, and community outreach.
• Secure external funding and contribute to research projects.

Minimum Qualifications

• Applicants must hold a Ph.D. or DBA in Islamic Finance, Finance, or a related discipline from an accredited institution, with Scopus‑indexed publications within the past three years and an H‑Index above 3, alongside demonstrated teaching excellence and a strong research pipeline.

Preferred Competencies

• Experience with online and hybrid teaching methods.
• Track record of securing research grants and funding.
• Professional qualifications (e.g., CFA, CPA, Islamic Finance certifications such as CIFE, AAOIFI standards).
• International academic or industry exposure.
• Ability to integrate emerging trends in fintech, sustainability, and Shariah-compliant innovation into the curriculum.
• HRDC TTT certification preferred.
